Francis Ross Died intestate, and his wife Catherine applied soon after his death to manage his estate^[1]. In South Carolina Probate records, Laurens County, Bound Volumes, Volume C, Page 12, the following is stated, "Uppon application of Catherine Ross wife of Frances Ross Deceased and Robert Ross and John Ross suns of the said Francis Ross Decd..." ^[2]
