Rationale for Royer alias has been hopefully clarified. Royer alias appears to be a transcription error on Tanguay's part. Indeed, there is no Royer included in PRDH's variants for the standard name Roger.

See https://www.genealogie.umontreal.ca/en/dico/noms

However, note that PREFEN does indeed provide Royer as an alphabetical variant in ancient Perche province for Renée Roger.

The name Royer does not have a place here.

Renee Madeline Roger is not a sister of Renee Roger. They are the same person. Renee Madeline was Pierre Gagnon's wife.

Claude you’re taking this a bit too personal, as a Ranger I posted a note after a merge for Roger-109 to clean up the Biographies as I do for many others. I realize that you’re involved with the Categories of the Percheron Immigration, not too may members would take on such a task.

Claude, are you saying you disagree in following the guideline in Biographies in the Style and Standards guide? Where it says “it should always be easy to read and understand — clear, concise and well organized”. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Biographies

This individual needs a cleanup, there are too may Biographies in the Contents, i.e. 1-Biographie, 2-Biography, 6-Biographie/Biography. The Style and Standards should be observed in WikiTree [1]

Roger-109 and Roger-Royer-1 are not ready to be merged because: The birth and last names are not confermed.
