Eldridge was born in 1880 in Florida. His parents were Richard Russell and Annie Cash.[1] In 1900, the family was living in Key West, Monroe, Florida.[1]
He married Flossie Bell Albury in 1904 in Monroe County, Florida.[2]
In 1918, he registered for the WWI draft. He listed Flossie as his nearest relative. His occupation was stated to be a clerk for William Curry Sons Company. The couple was living at 1124 Olivia St in Key West, Florida.[3]
When he passed away in 1920[4][5], he was entombed in the Key West Cemetery, Key West, Florida, next to his wife.[6][7]

Alvich only appears on the 1885 Florida state census and almost certainly was the census-taker's attempt to write the name "Eldridge" Russell. The 1885 census taker also erred in his age; if Alvich really was born in 1878, then he should appear in his parents' 1880 federal census household, but he does not. I think we could safely merge these two profiles.
