I descend from Frances "Fannie" Campbell Wright. I have read that she is the daughter of this couple but have not seen documentation for this. Do you know of any? The years and locations line up for this. Thanks in advance.
Hello Cathy: I’m sorry to say I do not have any information on Frances ( Fannie) being a child of James Campbell & Jane Sample.
I have a document from Montgomery Co., TN dated 1837 involving James & Jane Campbell (not clear on their roles) where Thomas Campbell is appointed guardian. I question if this is my James Campbell & Jane Sample, as I have them residing in Monroe Co., KY.
I have not completed in depth research on this family.
