Notes

Saunders Family - Wm. & Mary Quarterly[4]

Pg 145
1 John saunders lived in York Co., Virginia, and his will was proved Feb, 24, 1700. It disposes of a large estate in money, slaves and land. Issue named in the will: 2 Christabel, wife of Samuel Waddow; 3 John; 4 Edward; 5 Robert; 6 George; 7 Hargrave; 8 Peter; 9 Sarah; 10 Susannah. There is a deed recorded in Yorktown from John and Edward Saunders, in 1707, disposing of land to William Barber, "inherited from their mother, Mary Risle, daughter of John Risle," but reserving "the burial place of their mother and father, forty feet square." It is probably that the other children were by a second wife, a daughter of Peter Hargrave.

Sanders-693 and Sanders-4056 appear to represent the same person because: I see this is a rejected match, but I am removing the rejection & proposing again. If you look at the children listed under Sanders-693 (no profiles set up for them, but look under Children heading), you see that they match the children attached to Sanders-4056 (profiles set up). That plus date/place of birth show match.

It looks good to me, to merge, but first need to remove the reject.
