Note
Paul is a amateur singer song writer. In May 2007, along with his brother in law's father, John MacPhee. He wrote the song "Ode to the Canadian Soldiers". He then got together with his best friend, Brad Howe, also an amateur singer-songwriter and Paul's song writing partner, and together they recorded "Ode to the Canadian Soldiers". Then, John MacPhee sent a copy of the song to then Chief of Defence Staff, Canadian Armed Forces, General Rick Hillier. General Hillier like the song so much that he put the song on Canadian armed forces radio and television, and on the Canadian armed forces web site. It played in Afghanistan, and wherever there was a Canadian forces base. It also played at various air shows. John also sent a copy to Prime Minister Stephen Harper who sent an appreciativeletter. The song also got some radio play on CBC radio in Charlottown, PEI, and St. John's, Newfoundland. "Ode to the Canadian Soldiers" was also put on the internet where it can be purchased on sites such as "ITunes", "Amazon.com" etc.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Paul or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Paul:
Hello. I have a question. I'm trying to upload a photo so that it's public. But it keeps coming up as private and I have no idea how to make it public. Anyone have an answer for the computer illiterate?
The sources from myherigage.com and some others are to be taken very carefully and analysed towards other sources. If I can help with your present problem, the Aymard sisters, let me know.
I was curious. If I am working on my family tree on another site, in this case www.myheritage.com, and I find a bunch of new ancestors that I then add to my tree, is there a way to update my tree on this site without having to add them all manually?
Glad you now have some pieces to your puzzle. I am still fascinating by the Scotland births - they would have had to travel by boat back and for every year to accomplish that one! Happy Hunting
Thank you, Paul, for volunteering to help us grow our worldwide family tree by adding your branches. I hope you'll add your father's line, too. The more maternal ancestors you include on WikiTree, the greater the chances are for you to find cousins--or have them find you.
I hope your experience as a member of the WikiTree community will be very pleasant and productive.
I have a lot of information from my mother's side of the family going back to the 11th century, but I can't find a thing on my father's side. That's why I'm going to try WikiTree

Just confirming that you are no longer active on WikiTree per the email you sent me:
Hi James. Unfortunately no, I’m not active on WikiTree any more. I find it way too confusing to work on. I use myheritage.com only.
Thanks
