Biography

Samuel Paul was born in 1828 and christened at St Matthew Bethnal Green, Middlesex. Samuel Paul was the child of Samuel Sharpe and Mary Ann Sharpe. He was a Velvet Handloom Weaver in Spitalfields and was part of the Huguenot community.

In the 1851 census Samuel (age 22), Velvet Weaver Handloom, was the unmarried son of Mary Ann Sharpe in Wellington Row, Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England.^[1]

he married Elizabeth Howard and had 2 children. He died 2 February 1869 in his early 40s
