Biography
I was born in Franklin, Indiana in 1965, my parents are Layton and Lois (Hebert) Sherfield. Our family home was in New Whiteland, Indiana. My parents moved to this small town from Westboro, Wisconsin in Taylor County. My paternal grandparents are Hobart and Hattie (Hultin) Sherfield, they resided on Sherfield Road in Spencer, Indiana after leaving Westboro. There is a private Facebook page "Descendants of John Sherfield", that you must be invited to join.
My grandmother Hattie is of Swedish descent and her name was changed to Hultin(e) when coming to America. I have been researching my Swedish family, and the name changing has me very confused.
My maternal grandparents are Archie and Mildred (Bonneville) Hebert. They also resided in Westboro, Wisconsin.
I have found many surnames, but I haven't linked them all together. SURNAMES: Sherfield, Hebert, Avery, Streeter, Bonneville, Hultin(e), Carlsson, Peterson, Carlsdotter and many, many more.
I have my DNA results on 23andme.com, and I plan on doing this on another site to find more of my Sherfield family.
