Biography

Emma was born in 1858 in the Depwade Registration District of Norfolk, England [1]. She was baptised at St Mary's Church, Redenhall, Norfolk on 13 Feb 1859, the daughter of James Ship and Jemima Sadd [2].

She married William Tidy on 3 Mar 1878 at the Church of St Alphege, Greenwich, London [3]; following William's death, Emma married William Leslie Proudfoot on 25 Dec 1896 at St Barnabas, Rotherhithe, London [4].

Emma's death was registered in London's Southwark Registration District during the first Quarter of 1939 [5].
