Biography

Jonathan was born in 1838. He was the son of Jacob Shotwell and Dorcas Drake. He was probably named for his mother's brother Jonathan Drake (who had died about 1832).

Caroline Kinman married Jonathan Shotwell in 1857 in Illinois [1]. Caroline died in 1868 [2]

He married Anna Hersman in 1871 in Tazewell County, Illinois [1]

He passed away in 1924.[3]
