Desmond, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add
{{ Languages | en | pt-2 }}
to the top of your biography if you speak English natively and intermediate Portuguese, or you could use hi-4 to specify near-native Hindi or ru-1 for basic Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.
It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:
{{ Languages | en }}
Also, I haven't added all South Asian languages like Konkani, so let me know if I should add some categories for your languages!
The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree.
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!
When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to become a member of WikiTree. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests. One of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership.
WikiTree is an exciting and growing community and we are really glad you are here.

Your next step is to reread and sign the Honor Code. Here's how to use WikiTree.
If you feel lost, ask a question in our G2G forum. Most WikiTree members are happy to help a fellow genealogist.
Here's the G2G Question of the Week: Have you taken any genealogy field trips?
