I have been trying to get more information on my family tree on my father's side of the family. The first thing is that my paternal grandfather, Theodore Slay, passed away before I was born. I have no information on him or his family. I would love to find out more about him. Second, I know that on my paternal grandmother's side, there is Native American. I have been trying to find the line and link but to know success. I know that my father has stated that there is Creek and cherokee. I would love to have some help in this search. Thank you

I am a Slay researcher in the UK (and the Slay surname is on my watchlist). I think we might have encountered before... Do you know about the Slay web created by Elizabeth Casburn-Brown? It has all the details of your ancestors... I did a search for Theodore Roosevelt Slay to start. It's a comprehensive reference..
