Biography

John Small was christened on October 17, 1840 at St. Mary's parish in Warwick.^[1] He was the son of William Small and Elizabeth (Gillman).^[1] At the time of John's christening, William and Elizabeth were living on Monk Street and William was a laborer.^[1]

John married Eliza Firkin on December 8, 1862 in Wednesbury, (St. Bartholomew's), Staffordshire, England.^[2]
