Biography

James Aron Smith[1] was born 29 April 1856 in Floyd County, Kentucky.[2][3][4][5] He was the son of John Smith and Nancy (Parsons) Smith.[2][3]

He was married 5 May 1885 in Todd County, Minnesota to Louisa Olmstead.[6]

They had two known children:

  1. Margaret Elzora Smith (1886 - 1967). married three times
  2. Mabel Smith (1889 - 1921)

James Aron Smith died 24 January 1918 in Itasca County, Minnesota and is buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Park Rapids, Hubbard County, Minnesota.[1][5]

I removed a previous comment because you inherited this dupe from Spurlock via Doug Younger, if I interpret this correctly, and now you are faced with a lot of merges. "You may wish to edit it ..." is an understatement, I feel your pain.

This is a different James A. Smith and he wasn't married to Mary Slaton. Our Mary married James A. Smith, son of Larkin Smith.

Like I said, this came via Younger and Spurlock, but I meant the "dupe" as the name James A Smith, not the actual profile. I should not have mentioned merges in this context.
