There were two children born of this marriage; Maria died in childbirth with the birth of the second child in June 1894.[3]

Problem sorted, she was made the daughter of her half sister Margaretha Alberta Zaayman. Their mother Margaretha Alberta de Jager and (daughter) Margareta Alberta Zaayman were married to Giliam Standers (father and son), which is what was causing the confusion. I've corrected everything and included corresponding sources.
