Biography

Joseph Stanton was born in May 1674 in Westerly, Rhode Island, the first child of Joseph Stanton and Hannah Mead.

When he was 30, he married Esther Gallup, daughter of Benadam Gallup and Esther Prentice, on 03 Jan 1705 in Westerly, Rhode Island. They had at least 7 children.

Civil Service

Joseph Stanton was a Justice of the Peace for Westerly, Rhode Island. [1]

Joseph Stanton died on 02 Aug 1752 in Kings, Rhode Island.

Stanton-142 and Stanton-442 appear to represent the same person because: Married to the same person Esther/Hester Gallup.

Also their daughters the siblings Sarah, Hannah, and Nancy keep showing up on the same family search pedigree landscape charts as a sibling group.
