Arthur Starkey of Wrenbury[1]

Arthur was born about 1604.

He was the son of Lawrance Starkey, esq,[2] and his wife, Mary Massey.[1] Mary was the daughter of John Massey of Coddington, Cheshire, esq.[1]

Arthure Starkie Armiger married Marie Wicksted at Wrenbury on 29 September, 1622.[3] Mary was the daughter of John Wicksted of Nantwich, Cheshire.[1]

He and Mary were the parents of:

In the 1640s England went through a Civil War, the beheading of King Charles I, the rule of Cromwell - a very unsettled period.
