Thomas was baptised on 27th March 1826 in Roche, Cornwall. He was resident at Belowda, East Lane End in Roche. [1]
Thomas married Elizabeth Dyer Stick on 16th October 1849 in Roche parish church. They were first cousins. Elizabeth was a resident of Victoria Inn in Roche, at the time of their marriage. The bride's father Nicholas Stick was an Innkeeper, and the groom's father Thomas Stick was a Yeoman. [2]
In the 1871 census Thomas can be found age 43 as a Farmer with his wife, sons and daughters and house servant in St. Wenn, Cornwall.

The National Probate Calendar of England and Wales (Index of Wills and Administrations), 1858-1995 records:
"Stick Thomas of Roche farmer died 25th April 1899. Probate 15th June to Elizabeth Dyer Stick widow effects 243 pounds shillings" [4]
There exists a memorial at Mount Pleasant Chapel burial ground in Roche that reads: "In loving memory of Thomas Stick, of Hill House, Roche, who died April 25th, 1899, aged 74 years; also of Elizabeth Dyer Stick, wife of the above who died Oct. 28th, 1905, aged 77 years" [5]
