Joseph was baptised on 31st July 1842. He was a resident at Belowda in Roche in Cornwall where his father Thomas Stick was a farmer. [1]
Joseph married Arabella Varcoe on 16th October 1866 in St Dennis Parish in Cornwall. Joseph was a farmer, as was the bride's father Thomas Stick. Joseph was residing in Roche at this time. The first witness to the marriage was Edna Varcoe, and the second witness was Joseph Trethewey. [2]
