Hinshaw, Vol I, NC, p. 556, "1760, 11, 29, Jacob Lamb received on certificate from Perquimans MM, dated 1760, 10, 1." He was married to Sarah Stone (daughter of John and Catherine Stone) on 14 Jun 1764 in New Garden, Guilford, NC. The New Garden, Guilford County NC, Quaker marriage announcement: "Jacob Lamb, Rowan County, son of Henry, deceased, married Sarah Stone, daughter of John, Rowan County, 14 June 1764. Witnesses John Stone, Robert Lamb, Sarah Lamb, and others." That part of Rowan later became Guilford County. Hinshaw, Vol I, NC, pp. 556, 575. They were residents of Randolph County.
Other sources: Last Will and Testament, Randolph County, NC 1800; Hinshaw, Vol I, NC, p. 660 which names Jacob's wife and her date of death, along with their children and dates of birth, including a son Jacob not named in his Will. Also, see Indiana Quaker records.

Jacob Lamb."
Sarah Stone was born on 28 Dec 1746 in Center (Greensboro), Guilford, NC. She died on 27 Aug 1799 in Randolph County, NC. Hinshaw, Vol I, NC, pp. 660, 668. She was a sister of Salathiel Stone, whose daughter Anne Stone married Jacob Elliott. These records regarding her parents from Hinshaw, Vol I, NC, pp. 75, Perquimans Monthly Meeting, "1756, 8, 4, John Stone requested to be taken under the care of Perquimans Monthly Meeting; left for further tryal; 1758, 11, 1, John and Catherine Stone received in membership, had former request; 1761, 3, 4, John and wife requested certificate to New Garden Monthly Meeting."New Garden Monthly Meeting, p. 575, "1761, 5, 30, John Stone and family received on certificate from Perquimans MM, dated 1761, 3, 4."
Jacob died on 22 Oct 1800 in Randolph County, NC. His estate probate was in Nov 1800 at Asheboro, Randolph, NC.
Jacob Lamb and Sarah Stone had the following children, born at Center (now Greensboro), NC:

Source: Census: 1790 Randolph County NC p98; age 16+, 3 females, 1 male 16+, 1 male under 16. 1800 Randolph County NC p326; age 26-45, wife 26-45, 3 males 0-9, 1 male 10-16, 2 females 10-16. Also, North Carolina land records, State Archives, Guilford County: File No. 1 - Warrant for 158 acres on the waters of Pole Cat Creek, jointly to Jacob Arment and John Lamb, entered August 25 1795, adjoining lines of Sally Swain, John Leonard, and William Hoggatt. Entry was later disputed. File No. 14 - 158 acres to John Lamb, entry no. 106, on waters of Pole Cat Creek. Is thisthe same as that which was disputed above? Entered on May 17 1796, surveyed by John Howell on March 17 1797, adjoining lines of Joseph Leonard, Reece, and Jacob Arment.
