He married Lucy Crump in 1730.

George Edmund Taylor died 10 Oct 1791 in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States.
George Taylor is the descendant of a Huguenot emigrant.
George was born in 1709, and passed away in 1790.
George Taylor settled in Goochland County, Virginia after marriage where he was named as a plantation owner in May 1737. In the same county, 15 Sep 1741, he was issued a work order for the years 1742 to 1748. In 1744 a part of Goochland County became Albermarle County, where in 1761 George witnessed an estate appraisal. In 1773 he witnessed the will of Hugh Rice Morris who gave Lurana Taylor (wife of Zachariah) 400 acres of land.[1]
In 1782 tax list for Albermarle County, George's name was listed in District 1 with 3 sons under 21, 14 cattle, and 3 horses. Also in 1782, he moved his family to Mercer County, Kentucky, where he was granted tax exemption due to old age and infirmity. he died after Sep 1790.[2]
