Disambiguation: Not to be confused with Jasper Taylor, also of Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, same generation, but son of Jasper Taylor and Hannah Fitz Randolph.
Jasher was born about 1685. That he was son of Richard Taylor and Hannah of Yarmouth, and husband of Experience Cobb, is supported by:
the 1725 will of Richard Taylor of Yarmouth names his children, which includes a son "Jasher" and a daughter-in-law Experience.[1]
the 1755 will of Isaac Taylor (another son of Richard Taylor of Yarmouth) makes a bequest to the four daughters of Isaac's brother Jasher -- Lydia Whelden and Elizabeth, Thankful and Keziah Taylor.[2] These daughters match the daughters that Jasher Taylor had with Experience Cobb.
He married Experience Cobb in Yarmouth 18 Feb 1713/14.[3][4]
NOTE: Previous versions of wikitree profiles claimed that the husband of Experience Cobb was the other Jasper Taylor. But the above records clearly indicate that Experience's husband was THIS Jasher Taylor.
He passed away in 1752.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jasher by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jasher:
The sentence in the narrative "Jasher was the brother of Isaac" does not appears to pertain to THIS Jasher Taylor. There were two different Jasher Taylors, same generation-- one a son of another Jasher/Jasper Taylor and Hannah Fitz Randolph-- the other a son of Richard Taylor and Hannah Unknown. The second one does not yet appear to have a profile on wikitree.
UPDATE: We've found a pretty reliable source that indicates that Jasher, husband of Experience Cobb, was actually son of Richard and Hannah Taylor. So I'm going to reject the merge I just proposed.
