Biography

Adaline E. Templeton was born in Alabama on 22 February 1821. NOTE: It is possible Adaline was the daughter of Robert and Mary (Johnson) Templeton. In the 1830 census for Lawrence County, Alabama, there is only one Templeton household, which is headed by Robert. In the census, he has one daughter 5-9 years old and one daughter 10-14 years old. Adaline E. Templeton married Rezon H. Wilder on 13 September 1842 in Lawrence County, Alabama.

Adaline E. Templeton Wilder was the mother of William Roebuck Wilder, born 7 April 1845 in Mississippi.

Adaline E. Templeton Wilder died 29 May 1863, Clark County, Arkansas and is buried in the Clear Spring Cemetery, Clark County, Arkansas.

Temple-1547 and Templeton-1747 appear to represent the same person because: Both women are Adaline with the same year of birth and death and married to the same husband.
