The Global Cemeteries Project is currently undergoing our member check-in and wanted to verify that you are still active and interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Cemetery Teams? If not, is there a particular Team or area you are interested in participating with? I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!
We use Google Groups for internal project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup for access feel free to submit a join request and we will get that approved as quick as possible. We also ask that members check their follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (CEMETERIES) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.
Last, but not least, we would like to thank you for all of your contributions to WikiTree and let you konw that any ideas or suggestions for improvement you may have for the Global Cemeteries Project would greatly appreciated!
You received a message a couple of weeks ago about the new-look Global Cemeteries Project but we have not yet heard back from you. If you would like to continue in the project, please can you PM me your team(s) selections and your e-mail address for the Google group.
If I dont hear back from you by this time next week Ill assume you no longer wish to be in the project at this time.
Many thanks,

Project Coordinator for Membership
Global Cemeteries Project
Weve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.
Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.
Please let me know if youd like to stay on in the new project, if youd like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) youd like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the projects Google Group.
Hi again Andrea. Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.
You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.
Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so dont forget to read and sign our Honor Code. This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community. We have many friendly members, feel free to ask if you have any questions.
I'd really like to help out with growing the Tree. Because why?
1) I've read a few AJ Jacobs books.
2) I'm currently researching some lines
3) I know I have people whom I can't find on here
4) I wanted to be a librarian when I grew up. I love organization and detail and sources and accumulating information.
Volunteer Button Andrea. You clicked on the volunteer button indicating that you would like to collaborate and add family information. If thats correct please leave another comment here on your profile to indicate your willingness to help build the Tree, and one of the Greeters will be happy to add you as a member of WikiTree.
You can explore and search for relatives or family information as a guest without volunteering.
To help with your search, check out the Find button. Clicking on Matches for familyor Surnames may show you some family connections.
In the Help area you can post questions in the G2G forum. We have a lot of people who are willing to help. Just ask. Good Luck.
Also check our Family Tree and Genealogy Tools feature.
Some family names I'm working on are Thiele, Polzine, Mahaffey, Moriarty, Zick and Mangold. I've been the collector of the family lists and am getting back into researching in my free time. Every Christmas I ask for a subscription to Ancestry.com! :) My main goal right now is to add sources to the material I already have. To make sure names/dates/places are correct.
I just started a challenge team that includes South Dakota. We'd love to have you as a part of the team! Team Name: Little Team On The Prairie
Have you registered for the 2021 source-a-thon yet?
