In the Ackley - Bosworth Genealogy (p 150) it is stated that on 3 Apr. 1683 an agreement was made between the widow Abigail Terrill and her sons John, Samuel, Roger, and Thomas, and her sons - in-law William Tyler and John Skeels that her son Daniel would be allowed £10 from each for remaining with the father Roger and for the care he would take of his mother, Abigail, and his brother Joseph, "defective in understanding."
