Biography

This is the profile for the unnamed first wife of John Lewis before his marriage to Elizabeth Houser. Nothing is known about her. Her marriage year is calculated from the age of her presumed oldest children, and her birth year is estimated to be 18 years prior to her marriage.

It is possible that this unnamed first wife is Elizabeth Horner. Elizabeth Horner is poorly documented and often confused with Elizabeth Houser, the documented second wife of John Lewis. But Elizabeth Horner is the right age to be John Lewis's first wife, and the similarity in name would account for the confusion.

At the moment, however, this is all speculation!
