Anita Woodnutt[2] notes that John Bennett's wife Catherine was possibly surnamed Strader, d/o William Strader per his will of 10 June 1782 Wantage, Sussex, NJ. There is a marriage record in the Dutch Reformed Church in Manhattan between John Bennet and Catharina Eva Strader on 29 March 1770, and this date does fit the birth dates of the children and there is no other record of a John married to a Catherine at this timeframe. Without an explanation how John Bennett got from backwoods Virginia to New York, I cannot accept the match.

Strader-620 and Unknown-478517 appear to represent the same person because: Both profiles are intended to represent the wife of john M. Bennett. The Possible surname of Strader is speculative and unsupported by sufficient documentation. I suggest keeping the surname as Unknown for the reasons stated in the research note on the Unknown profile.
