Pieter Van der Merwe
I suggest that Pieter (Petrus) van der Merwe (Wiki id: Van_der_Merwe-1733) be named as the father of this Johannes Marthinus. The source for this is the inventory notice of Petrus dated 4 Sept 1798 and uploaded by Philip van der Walt. It stated the children of Petrus and Aletta, along with the age of each child to have been:

1) Petrus Jacobus oud 15 2) Aletta Maria oud 13 3) Aletta Susanna oud 12 4) Willem Hendrik oud 9 5) Johannes Marthinus oud 7 6) Lucas Johannes oud 4 en 7) Petronella Aletta van der Merwe oud 1/2 jaar

His mother Aletta Susanna (Janz) van Rensburg was later also married to Petrus Jacobus van Staden and I suggest that their children be shown to be the half brothers and sister of Johannes Marthinus and not the other brothers and sisters he had.

Van Der Merwe-432 and Van der Merwe-1388 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicate. Van_der_Merwe-1388 has the more correct spelling of the LNAB (lower case suffixes) and should be the target profile to merge into.
