DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Johannes by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Johannes:
Vanzandt-112 and Van Santen-85 appear to represent the same person because: Two profiles need to be merged and maintain the LNAB of van Santen to match fathers LNAB on baptismal Record.
1) The birth November 4, 1686 in the data fields appears to be bogus, and contradicts the bio. The date in the bio, on the other hand, seems to match nearly exactly that of the birth in the data field on the matching profile, August 2, 1690.
2) The name Johannes Adamse is patronymically false, and appears to instead properly belong to his father, who is indeed a son of Adam.
3) The match has a death date of 1704, which seems to be bogus. The later date here as about December 1, 1757 makes more sense, given the marriage and children.
Edit November 11, 2014: Aafter further review, this Johannes has been disambiguated from the son of Johannes and Margarita Vanderpoel Van Zandt, Johannes VanZandt-78, and so I moved it to a rejected match. Wayne reports, "Seems the source I used mixed up Two lines of Van Zandts because Johannes from Adam Johannes died at fourteen but I found several other sources of who my Johannes parents were."
