Lancelot died circa 1688 (aged 57–58) in Northern Ireland.[1] His body was lost or destroyed.

I believe it was just an error in spelling of the last name of Bainey, which oft occurs in this world of 'print'. Dr Vance was my 9th Grandfather too. Nice to meet you cousin :)
