Robert "Robin" Vicars was born November 08, 1747 London, Middlesex, England, and died March 13, 1821 Russell County, Virginia.[1]
He married (1) Lydia Jackson Abt. 1770 in Botetourt Co., Virginia, daughter of Jacob Jackson and Lydia Taylor. She was born Abt. 1752 in Norfolk Co., VA, and died Aft. 23 Aug 1795 in Russell Co., Virginia. The 12 children named in Robert's will are Lidia's.
He married (2) Milly Madison Bet. 1795 - 1814 in Russell Co., Virginia, daughter of James Madison, REV.. She died Abt. 1838 in Russell Co., Virginia.
1815 Russell Co, VA Property Tax Assessment Records describe Robert Vickers property as a farm on the waters of Coper (sic Copper) Creek, 200 acres having one dwelling house, two stories, 20 feet by 16 feet, one barn of wood, two stables, two corn houses, one loom house, and one smokehouse, valued at $600.
