Dorcas Vickery was born on 13 March 1698 in Hull, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay, the daughter of Benjamin and Dorcas (Paine) Vickery.[1]
She married Jonathan Sparrow on 12 October 1721 in Harwich, Barnstable County. He was the son of Jonathan and Rebecca Sparrow, born about 1695 probably in Eastham. He died in Eastham in 1790, aged 95. He was also a descendant of Mayflower passenger Steven Hopkins.[1]
