I just wanted to say hello, and welcome to WikiTree. Especially as you are the first researcher I've "met" across that shares my surname!!

Early days, for me but I'm hoping to research my Walmsley tree. I've previously only managed to get back to my great grandfather (Ormskirk, Lancashire) - past that it all got a bit vague. (Typically, I can go back centuries on my mothers side!)
