Hepzibat's parents were Rev. John Warham and his second wife Jane Dabinott. The family came from England in the early part of the 1600's. They were part of the first English settlement at Windsor, on the west side of the Connecticut River. Her name was also spelled Hepzibah. As did many seventeenth century children, Hepzibat died young.
