Edward Willett, Jr., was born January 12, 1703, in Prince George's County, Maryland. He was the son of Edward Willett, Sr., and his wife, Tabitha (Mills) Willett. Edward Willett, Sr., was an artisan, specializing in Pewter-ware, widely used at that time for plates and cups... He was from Cirencester, England; emigrating to Maryland in 1687. He married Tabitha Mills, born 1676 in Calvert Co., Maryland, in 1698.

Note: According to researchers: Fred & Barbara Naef, in his will (Box 5:5), he names his wife Grace, [a] daughter: Mary Letton, sons William Willett, and Ninian Willett, & his Riley grandchildren. His sons, William and Ninian, were to receive [his] land called "Scotland," containing 100 acres and "Additions to Scotland" containing 73 acres. Edward Willett's inventory (Box 7:58) was taken on 6/22/1772. His estate amounted to £120:4:115. His sons William Willett, and Ninian Willett were given as his "next of kin."
