Biography

Samuel was born in 1828 in Montgomery County, Georgia, son of John Williamson and Elizabeth Sullivan Williamson[1]. In 1850, he lived with his parents and siblings in Emanuel County, Georgia[2].

He married Eliza A. Williamson. In 1860, they lived in Emanuel County, Georgia with their son Andrew[3].

He was 5th Sergeant in Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Army of Northern Virginia, CSA, Emanuel County Georgia McLeod Volunteers[4] and died at Mechanicsville Virginia in the Battle of Beaver Dam Creek. His place of burial is unknown[1].
