According to her father, Henry's Will "Item I lend unto my daughter Elizabeth Cardwell during her natural life one negroe wench named Else with her future increase, and after her decease I give and bequeath the said negroe Else with all her future increase to be equally divided amongst her children to them their heirs or assigns forever."
