Biography

Susan was the daughter of Nicholas Yetsworth and Mary Bourchier.^[1][2]

In 1587 she married Daniel Rogers.^[2][3] They had a son and a daughter:

• Francis^[2]
• Posthuma, so called because she was born after his death^[2]

When her husband died in 1591, his will appointed her sole executor.^[2]

After his death she married Thomas Shotbolt of Ardley. They were married before 1602 when she was named in the adminsitration of her father's will as Susan Shotbolt. ^[4]It is likely that she had died before 1626 as she is not named in his will, although her daughter Postuma is. ^[5]

Susan was buried at Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex on 17 Sep 1622. The register noted that she was Susan Yetsworth, alias Shotbolt, wife of Thomas Shotbolt Esq. ^[6]
