Hello again! I posted a comment two weeks ago and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well! Do you want to remain in the Germany Project? If I don’t hear back from you by the end of November, I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, always welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.
The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.
Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.
I see that you are related to my step grandmother, Gertrude Bost Nesbitt. Her father was Charlie Bost and her grandfather was Jonathan Harvey Bost. She got me interested in genealogy when she described Jonathan Harvey Bost as being a one armed carpenter after losing an arm in the Civil War.
Thanks for joining the Germany Project! I've awarded you a project member badge.
Please read the Germany project page and add GERMANY to your list of followed G2G tags. When you have a chance, please submit a join request to our Google Group, where our project communicates. Please make sure to add your name and WikiTree ID to the request so we can get you set up. Here's a link: https://groups.google.com/g/wikitreegermanroots
The Germany Project has several teams that cover regional, functional, historical and migrational interests. Please check them out and let me know which team(s) you'd like to join. You'll find that one of our 16 regional teams may be a good fit.
Wendy, I have an enormous family tree I have built on Ancestry.com. Can source information be brought over from there and be posted on each profile? Is there a tutorial on how to do that? Is it just a matter of copy and paste?
As you have been a member of WikiTree for a few weeks now, I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful, or left you with any questions?
I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. To contact me, be sure to use the "reply" link for this comment so that I will be notified. You can also click my name to send a private message, or post a comment, on my profile page.
Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

PS Let me know if you need help finding sources.FamilySearch.org is great for that.
PPS Have you noticed that WikiTree adds a link to you and your DNA tests on the profiles of your ancestors and their descendants? It normally takes 24 hours. For more information on DNA, see
Getting Started with DNA FAQ.
Wendy, I enjoy putting my family tree on this site but find it frustrating to use many times. I want to add in the source information but I am clueless where I get it and how to put it on.
I was trying to add a family gather pic to this weeks collection but found it was seeing where I had already posted it to one of my family members. I tired to follow instruction on how to link it to the weeks collection but it failed to recognize the name.
I would love to keep adding but I get discouraged quickly.
Regards
Mark Hannah
For source information, I recommend using FamilySearch.org, which is free. I have suggested some sources for William Austin Martin from FamilySearch. It is much easier to cite sources from there. You might try using the Roots Search tool, which is normally on the right side of each profile. You can then sign into a number of sites to search for sources. If you are happy with the sources I suggested, you can copy and paste them onto the profile under Sources.
Wendy...I attached two, or at least tried the second post to the "52 Photos Week 50 Family Gatherings" but the second one failed. It was a picture of Civil War Veterans of Marshfield, MO. I think I have it attached to my great great Grandfather, James Riley Hannah's profile. It said I could display it again in the Weekly Photo display. However, I tried to follow the instruction but it failed to recognize the "Space" name.

Ginny...Thanks for the note. I found this on the internet while working on family trees for my work. I thought it may be helpful in finding people. I have been using Ancestry.com for many years building non-family trees. I am curious how Wiki-Tree works and hope it can be helpful as well as my being able to help build this tree and help others.
I look forward to being accepted above the "guest" level so I can evaluate how this works.

Mark Hannah

Re the photos, I am not sure I understand what you are trying to do. I saw a family gathering photo you uploaded https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/52_Photos_Week_50_Family_Gathering-6. If you send me a link to the instructions you were trying to follow, I will try to help.
