Another issue with G2G feeds...

I know the G2G feed issue is being worked on -- showing only a few items instead of the last 50 up to 30 days old.

I noticed today that when I select Full Feed so I can see beyond the last 24 hours or so, the same question will appear over and over again in the feed with each answer or comment added to that particular question. I don't recall that being the case before the issues with the feed began.  It would be nice if a particular question appeared only once in the feed at the date/time stamp for the most recent answer of comment.

The only reason that there are only a few items in "My Feed" is because nobody has posted with a tag you are following.
I do not see anything like what you describe. I wonder if this has something to do with the browser or browser settings...
The only reason I know it's been happening for years is because I used to belong to the Integrators Project and had to page back through G2G posts to find the next one to work on.
Ros, tech said there is an issue with the Feed not populating as it should and that it is being worked on...my tag feed should greatly exceed what is being shown. It shows perhaps 8 to a dozen entries and none are older than 1 day. It should show up to 50 entries within the last 30 days (to see that I have to click the show full feed).

Ellen, I get the same thing whether I am using Firefox or IE (I've removed Chrome from all systems).
Well, I have various difficulties finding things in G2G feeds, but none of the feeds I see shows the same question repeatedly.

In some of the feeds, items pop up again whenever there is a new answer or a new comment in response to the question (but not when there is a new comment in response to one of the answers). I think that is the behavior Ros is referring to, and it is not new -- it has been that way a very long time.

There are several ways to access G2G content where I can only see the last 50 questions, regardless of whether or when anyone answered. And the recent activity view on my G2G profile is not very helpful for me because I can only see 50 items, most of which are typically  Moderator activity, such as retagging a question from another member.

If they were to show the last change only then they should really list when that thread was started. It's annoying if the current post was to a thread that hasn't been changed in years.

The most recent change is what I want to appear in sequential date/time order...even if the thread may otherwise not have been changed in the last two years. That's how we know someone has added to the post. Oftentimes people add info or answers to posts where the original question is quite old. When you go the the g2g question you always see the entire post.

It's always been like that, as far as I can remember.
