Pierre Coirier came to New France and got married here in 1665, remarrying in 1673. Perrine Coirier https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Coirier-1 married Clément Guérin in France and came here in 1669. Jetté says they are brother and sister, but the parents do not match.
They are godparents to each other's children, Pierre's second wife is also godmother to one of Perrine's children.
On the marriage of Anne Guérin, Perrine's daughter, Pierre Coirier is present and cited as the bride's cousin (no degree of cousinship stated). If first cousins, then Pierre's father Martin Coirier https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Coirier-5 would be Perrine's brother.
They all come from Poitou (Vendée). Have found the record of Perrine's marriage in the department archives already.
Can my friends over in France find any sort of record to clarify this relationship please? Pierre and Perrine are not far apart in ages per census data on them.
(LNAB for Pierre is wrong as is, there's a merge pending on him)
