Is Strode ok for Letitia, or would Stroud or Stroude be a better choice?

a proposed merge of Strode-2 and Stroud-874 has been postponed pending comments on this question. If you have an opinion or sources one way or another, please share by November 20. Thanks!

P.S. Stroud-744 is lowest-numbered profile with that spelling; a Stroude profile does not exist for Letitia

speaking as a descendent of Margaret Stroud who married Thomas Porter, the Southern branches of the family have always preferred Stroud. [huge Stroud family reunions] Letitia's father by the way was James Edward Stroud

Stoud is another option completely. However, since the IP address for the anonymous post is the same as the previous one... you meant Stroud (with an "r")?

it's definitely looking like Stroud is the better choice, but since I gave a "reply by" date of Nov. 20, I'll wait till then to make changes.  Thanks everyone.

P.S. See http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/52617/opinion-sources-family-search-ancestral-files-grave-markers for comments about tombstones/memorial markers as a source.

I concur as a descendant that Stroud seems to be the best option especially since that is what her marker says.
