I’m looking for information on Johann Lorenz Hoffmann, born 1794 in Pegnitz, Germany.  His wife was Margaretha Hautsch, and she was born in 1798.  They emigrated to Haysville, Indiana, USA.   I’ve hit a wall as far as finding the generation preceding them,
