Samuel Steele's father and mother were John Steele and Mary Warner. After John's death, she second married William Hills as his third wife. Mary and William had four children, including a daughter Hannah that the connection finder listed. William's second wife was another Mary (and this was her second marriage, but luckily that is not germane to this connection). I am descended from their son, Joseph Hills.
And that, my friends, is an excellent example of why Colonial endogamy is a thing.
