Several questions from a newbie

Question

Ira Reed and Sarah Farrell would be my 3rd great Grandparents. My Grandmother (since passed) had put together a family tree from Documents handed down Generations which I'm in possession of. I would like to share. I'm also very new to wikitree.

Thank you, I have gone through that.  I actually followed the directions.... introduce yourself on the forum.  it was specific to Ira Reed. I went to contact manager of profile, and it again suggested the forum. foolish me.

Hi John - I would presume you would like to connect yourself to your 3-grandparents? Not a problem. You don't currently have enough of your tree entered for me to fully answer this, but I'll take a guess.

I would just go ahead and fill out the family you have up to those profiles, then make sure you have proper documentation to prove the relationship, then go ahead and add them as parents to the appropriate child.

The Family Tree you would like to share is a great find, and can be added as a photo image to any one of the profiles it covers. You can then "tag" or add additional profiles to the photo to ensure it shows up on multiple people.

I'm also presuming that maybe James and Hanna might be Mildred's parents? Or possibly Ira and Sarah are her parents?

I only noticed because I've spent a few days on Mount Desert Island and it was an interesting place to visit. It was for work purposes, so I didn't get to do a lot of touristy things, but I saw the inside of the school there and had lunch while we were doing an installation.

Ira Sr. and Sarah had Ira Witham Jr. born 3/27/1884 married Annie Salisbury.  they had Mildred  8/30/1889.

My mother and Grandmother are both from Mt. Desert, I spent summers in Northeast Harbor as a child. Beautiful place.   the old  school my mother had attended was turned into a moving and storage office or something.  was a shame. though haven't been up in years.

Alrfed Shrew De Rede circa 0925 is as far as Iv'e been able to trace.

You could create Free Space page with the information that you have which could be linked to from the affected profiles.  Since we like to have sources, you may have information that has been passed down without sources, so reviewing the people in that 'handed down document' and finding sources to match the document would be very helpful to verify the information is correct.
