Streekarchief Midden-Holland gewijzigde urls (changed links)

The Streekarchief Midden-Holland launched a new website yesterday and consequently old links such as https://samh.nl/page/genealogy/burgerlijke-stand:-huwelijken/1614408 are no longer valid sad
Also the old groenehartarchieven.nl domain is no longer working.

There doesn't seem to be an easy way to convert links as the new urls are completely different (e.g. https://samh.nl/bronnen/genealogie/deeds/f75e28d0-cb09-7d35-0f44-5d7b44ebf1ff), but I did sent them an email to verify that.

The positive side is that they are now using the same system used in other Dutch archives like Amsterdam and Leiden (so finally much better reference data, and wildcard search!). Also the new site includes scanned documents and I read that they are planning to add much more scans.

Yes, it would be nice if finally all Dutch archives use permalinks to their data. Fortunately their are currently only 115 profiles for "samh_nl"

Thanks for sharing that link! I was looking for a way to check that.
I noticed today their old website name https://groenehartarchieven.nl also stopped working, so that adds 32 more profiles with broken links.
In any case it's less affected profiles than I expected, so that's good. The downside is that I manage about 40% of the affected profiles so I've got some work to do....sad

Apparently SAMH changed the urls this week. Profile of Hendrik Colliné had no 96x suggestions in latest dump (last weekend), but now all SAMH links give 404.

Also: no Gouda birth certificates currently to be found on SAMH...

I don't verify the links each week. For now initial verification was done and I will recheck probably once a year. Each week I check only the new URL's.
Good to know, Aleš. Thanks for explaining!
Yes, let's hope the wiewaswie links to Groene Hart will prove to be stable and start to include the new link.
Ah - good to know that the link verification isn't updated that frequently. That may impact where to focus work for the cleanathon if many have potentially already been corrected.
@W,

Data Doctors should record their corrections in the Suggestion Status. When that is done consistently  only the remaining suggestions would be reported.

I sent an email to the archive asking about the new links and they replied that there is indeed no conversion scheme for old links. They also said that the new links are more permanent and are expected to stay the same if there is a follow-up of the current system.

The DTB books (baptisms, weddings, burials) will be scanned and made available later this year or next year. Also in the coming years more scans will be added, most notably the civil records.

Let's see if the software company can provide the file (little chance, but who knows?) It is really bad practice not to save the IDs while converting, but apparently this still happens, even with big commercial companies.
