One of them didn't have the 'greater than' > on the end of </ref>. Looked like </ref

Hopefully that fixed it.

Thank you so much.  I learn something every day.  Your correction worked great.
See if you like the idea of having nice headings on each source too, to make them easier to locate quickly.

I will use a one or two word heading for every source. '''Birth Index''', '''1950 Census''', '''Headstone Inscription''', etc.

Have a look at the sources on https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Rutledge-1842
Howdy Ben, I was in the middle of my daily review of G2G, looking for items of interest and other viewpoints (my version of reading a morning newspaper), and saw this topic.  Followed your link to the profile to see your sources style. Thought i would take a moment and say that I thought that the profile is very well done.  I particularly liked the weaving of photos and text, and including the use of family oral history made a great narrative.  Checked out a few other profiles while I was there and was impressed by the depth of your research.  Unfortunately, we don't generally have the wealth of archived materials from the mid-1800s here in Texas that you seem to have available.

Anyway, just thought I would say hi and thanks.
Thank you Art. I worked on that profile on The Voyage with Profile Improvement Project, so the rest of my profiles aren't at that standard yet. I am fortunate with that one and only branch of my family, that they were socialites, and were mentioned in the papers often enough, and various members of my family, have already done the research for me.

I guess, that perhaps having all these sources available, is the result of living in a socialist country. I'd rather be in Texas, despite all the changes that I see are happening there too. I don't have an account with Family Search yet, so in some ways, I have a gap in available sources too. I don't know if there is an archive of newspapers in USA. It comes in really handy here, often.

Anyway, thank you for the compliment, and stopping to take the time to say hello.
