Is there an alternative term to "spouse" (implying committed relationship) to state shared parentage?

Children can be noted as son of Ann Bee (with link) and John Gee (with link). Neither parent needs to be linked to each other.

Just be aware that the system will often automatically connect parents as "married", so you may have to go back and disconnect them if you do not want them shown in a marriage relationship. But it can definitely be done.

'Spouse' would be a contracted relationship. 'DeFacto' currently, would be a relationship without contract. But you could just say 'parents'. You don't have to link the parents together in a marriage, to have them both be the parents of a profile. On the other hand, www.wikitree.com/wiki/Molesworth-184 William didn't marry Ellen, but I have them connected together, without a marriage date or location. It really isn't an issue.
