Blue and Red Triangle symbols on the family tree?

Question

I've just noticed on my family tree view, several of my ancestors have little red and/or blue triangles by their names next to the link to their descendents list... Just curious... wassat? -P Rich

I asked if these could be added to indicate further ancestors and WikiTree programmers have added them now. Now you don't have to look up a tree in the 5th generation of ancestors and find nothing there. The blue (for father) and red (for mother) indicate there is at least one ancestor. Very helpful for navigating your tree.

I agree, now that I know what they are...I just noticed them and couldn't find an explanation for them anywhere. Thank You for you great explanation, AND the great suggestion that gave reason for the the question. LOL

  if  it is these  it means there are more ancestors available on that branch
