Splitting a Large (1.2 MB) GEDCOM file I Acquired

I have a 1.2 MB Gedcom file that I aquired a while ago. It contains +2000 names and I do not have genealogy software that I can import it to in order to break it into smaller chunks.

What are my options?

Hi Mark - You can download free or trial versions of some great genealogy programs like Legacy Family Tree or RootsMagic, then import the GEDCOM and export it into smaller .ged files for upload.  Only .ged (GEDCOM) files may be uploaded to WikiTree, and there are limitations regarding size, sources, dates, etc. Please read those here: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Before_importing_a_GEDCOM
